Many of you may know The Kite String Tangle from his feature on Adventure Club’s song, “Wonder,” or possibly from his now well-known debut single, “Given The Chance,” which has over 1 million plays on SoundCloud. He performed the vocals in Adventure Club’s “Wonder” on their debut EP, Calling All Heroes, and Adventure Club aided in putting him on the map with it. The Kite String Tangle is actually the indie-electronic artist Danny Harley out of, the ever music providing, Brisbane, Australia. Now with two sold-out national tours and a hit debut EP in Vessel, The Kite String Tangle is clearly here to stay.
The song that seems to get less credit from The Kite String Tangle’s EP, by comparison to “Given The Chance,” is “Stone Cold.” Featuring both the entrancing vocals of Danny Harley in the intro and background, as well as the bold sound of Tiana Khasi’s effervescent voice, “Stone Cold” is a lyrical masterpiece. Combine these fluid lyrics with back-dropped bamboo-pipes, and a catchy marimba and finger-snap combo, and you have the total package. “Stone Cold” is the less-known title holder of The Kite String Tangle’s debut EP Vessel, and is just as good, if not better, than the more accredited, “Given The Chance.”
